A four wheel drive sport utility vehicle drives up the Moki Dugway. The Dugway was built in 1957 by Texas Zinc to transport Uranium ore from the mine in Fry Canyon Utah to a processing plant in Mexican Hat Utah. Both the mill and mine are long gone but the Dugway remains one of the most scenic if not frightening drives in America. It rises 1100 feet from the Valley of the Gods to the top of Cedar Mesa in just a few miles.
